Eric Jjemba
Board Member
Eric Jjemba is an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he represents energy and infrastructure project developers and lenders in financing transactions and has experience in energy, technology, and environmental health policy. He maintains an active pro bono practice supporting mission-driven startups and social enterprises, as well as individuals in immigration matters.
Eric was part of the founding team of PA Youth Vote, following his work as a Deputy Organizer for When We All Vote’s My School Votes initiative during the 2020 election. As the organization’s first Community Engagement Coordinator — a role supported by a postgraduate public service fellowship — he helped build its foundation for registering and engaging Pennsylvania youth as civic actors. His broader commitment to civic engagement includes co-chairing Harvard’s Institute of Politics Fellows & Study Groups Program, where he trained and mentored undergraduates and led weekly seminars on politics and public service, as well as leading interfaith climate outreach to connect faith communities with climate action resources.
Eric holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B. in Environmental Science & Engineering, with a secondary in Government, from Harvard University. Outside of work, he’s an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
