Gayatri Venkatesan

Gayatri Venkatesan (she/her) is a student at Bayard Rustin High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. After working to register and civically educate people in the 2020 election, Gayatri realized her passion for politics and advocacy for a better democracy. As a student leader in the PA Youth Vote Coalition, she promoted civic engagement through research and digital media, creatively spreading information about various civic education topics, ranging from voter eligibility, the effects of voter turnout, political terminology, parts of government, and beyond. She joined the PA Youth Vote advisory board to continue this type of work and help oversee the expansion of this incredible organization. Over the next election cycles, Gayatri is looking forward to registering more voters and educating them on the various elections that occur at the local, state, and national level to help people exercise their right to vote!
