Laqueenda Adu

Summer Program Coordinator / Advisory

Laqueenda Adu (she/her) is an International Political Economy major at Fordham University in Bronx, New York. She discovered a passion for civic education in 2019 after joining the iCivics’ Youth As Civic Experts fellowship, where she collaborated with other high students across the nation to develop a social media campaign about civic education targeted at the youth. She has also worked as a National Ambassador and an Ambassador Fellow for WHEN WE ALL VOTE. In high school, Laqueenda served as co-captain for the Voter Registration team - earning two Governor’s Civic Engagement awards after working to register over 85% of the eligible voting student population at Central High School. She currently serves the summer program coordinator, podcast editor, and advisory board member at PA YOUTH VOTE.
