Thomas Quinn

Thomas Quinn (he/him) founded “Philly Youth Vote” in 2018 and was dubbed a “collaborating octopus” by the Philadelphia Citizen for his work building a network of students, educators, and organizations focused on getting 8,000 public school students to the polls every Election Day, all while teaching full-time at Central High School. In 2020 he was awarded the President’s Award by the Pennsylvania Council for the Social Studies, was named a Philadelphia Integrity Icon by the Accountability Lab, and is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. In 2024 he aims to build a network of educators across the state to impact the ways we teach civics to empower students and their communities.
