Victorya Hattley

Intern

Victorya Hattley is an intern with PA Youth Vote who is passionate about helping young people feel heard and involved in their communities. She cares deeply about making civic engagement more approachable and believes people—especially youth—are more likely to participate when they understand how their voices can truly make an impact. At PA Youth Vote, Victorya works on projects centered on listening to community members and ensuring their concerns reach decision-makers. She is developing a database that gathers the priorities and needs of North Philadelphia residents so elected officials and organizations can better understand and respond to their constituents. Her work focuses on outreach, conversation, and creating spaces where students and community members feel included in the civic process. Victorya is a student at Temple University with a strong interest in law and public service. She is passionate about understanding how policy shapes communities and hopes to pursue a future career in the legal field. She is especially interested in bridging the gap between young people and government by encouraging dialogue, transparency, and meaningful participation. Victorya believes real change starts with listening and that strong communities are built when people are empowered with the tools and confidence to speak up.
