Regina Holley, Ph.D.

Pittsburgh/Allegheny County Regional Director

Regina Holley (she/her) was the Board Director of the School District of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2019. She served as President of the Board for three years and led the call for the District’s restorative practice to be implemented in all Pittsburgh Public Schools. She also led the district to implement a policy to collaborate with local community organizations on student voter engagement. Prior to serving on the Board of Directors, Dr. Holley served for 16 years as principal of Pittsburgh Lincoln K-8, a neighborhood school and the first school in Pittsburgh to be associated with the Freedom School movement with the Children’s Defense Fund. In addition to Dr. Holley’s work with PA Youth Vote, she is Board President for Naomi’s Place, a non-profit providing transitional housing for young women and their children. She is also a member of the Kingsley Association Board and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Dr. Holley earned her bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University, a master’s in Special Education and a doctorate in Curriculum and Supervision from the University of Pittsburgh.
